Hexagonnen

Zo eerst even uitrusten van mijn dag van de blog hop. Ik heb pijn in mijn handen, niet van het quilten, maar van het internetten. Gisteren hebben we bee gehad en Elly bracht een leuk glas met kaars voor ons mee.
Ik heb wat zitten werken aan hexagonnen en 's middags nog wat stofjes hiervoor geknipt. Vandaag maar eerst boodschappen doen, wat huishouden en daarna nog wat borduursteekjes zetten.

What was my day of the blog hop nice. My hand hurts from typing all the thanking for the visits of a lot of people. In the morning we had our bee. 

Elly gave us this nice glass with candle. I have been working on my hexagonflowers. In the afternoon I cut fabric for more hexagons. This morning I will do some cleaning and some shopping. After that maybe some embroidery.

My day of blog hop Stitch me up

Today is my day of the blog hop.First of all I want to thank madame Samm for all the bloghops and Jane for being our cheerleader for this blog hop. I also want to thank Madame Samm,Debbie Martinez from Busy As Can Be and Cyndi of Bee Tree Designs for providing us with some really beautiful drawings for us to choose from in order to make our embroidered projects. There were 9 different choices we had and also several pages of embroidery texture patterns we could also use. 

This is the first time I participate in a blog hop. Where to start? I bought the lovely yarn Precensia from Jane. That was a start. Then I received the patterns. One pattern I like most of all and that was the chair. Maybe the flower could go with it.

Now I have to make a drawing to see what to make.

I thought I could make something out of it. I found some nice fabric to match the colors. I search the internet to find different stitches. I matched the Precensia yarn with DMC of my own.
I start working and this what I finished. A little quilt 35 x 35 cm (14 x 14 inch).
I had a lot of  fun making it.

Kerstmis in maart

Vandaag is het de 25e dus laat ik de kerstitems zien die ik deze maand maakte. Narelle heeft dit bedacht. Je kunt bij haar aan de rechterkant van haar blog zien wie nog meer meedoet. Mijn bijdrage van deze maand zijn 2 geborduurde ornamentjes.
Today is the 25th so I have to show you my Christmasitems of this month. Narelle came up with the idea. You can see the other participants in her right sidebar. My contribution of this month is two embroidered ornaments.

Breirol

Als ik dan toch aan een pronkrol begin kan ik ook wel een breirol beginnen. 's avonds bij de TV kan ik niet genoeg zien om te borduren of te quilten maar breien kan ik wel. Ik zag zulke leuke breirollen voorbij komen dat ik toch ook maar begonnen ben. En wel aan de Crisisrol van Annelein
I started knitting. In the evening I can not see my embroidery or quilting as good as I need, so I start knitting. I took the pattern of the side of Annelein.

Kippetje af

In het weekend heb ik gewerkt aan het kippetje van de give away. Ik heb hem omgedraaid omdat dat beter stond op de plek waar hij nu hangt. Hij hangt op de ondergrond van de maandquilt.

In the weekend I worked on the chicken I got with the give away. His face looks the other way because it looks better where he is hanging now.

Ook maakte ik nog poppenkleertjes voor mijn vriendin. I also made doll clothes for my friend.

Alweer!

Ja hoor alweer. Ik won afgelopen week bij Marijke dit leuk pakketje voor een miniquilt kip. Je moest raden hoeveel knoopjes er in een doosje zaten en de meesten zaten gelukkig voor mij veel te laag. Zo'n leuk cadeautje vraagt erom om gemaakt te worden. Dus dat ga ik eerst doen.
Yes again I won a give away. I won this kit to make a mini chicken. It is so pretty, I will do it right away.

Deze 2 uiltjes maakte ik voor een vriendin. Haar huis heet Owl view cottage, dus ik dacht dat deze wel toepasselijk waren.
These 2 owl I made for a friend. Her house is called Owl view cottage, so I thought she would like these.

Agenda en tasje

 Ik heb de give away bij Tilly gewonnen. Het is de agenda van Quilt Mania met een heleboel foto's van mooie quilts. Het is een fijne kleine agenda. Nu blijkt ook dat Tilly en ik in dezelfde plaats wonen, niet ver van elkaar.
I won the give away from Tilly It is the lovely Quiltmana agenda. I love it.

Voor mijn vriendin Else maakte ik voor haar verjaardag nogmaal het tasje van Jeanny. Ditmaal in het blauw.
For my friend Else I mad the bag of Jeanny in blue.
