April showers blog hop My day


!Sew WE Quilt!


Today is my day of the blog hop April showers. I want to thank madam Sam and Erin for being our cheerleader. I first had no idea what to make. But then I thought April showers! April is the month with a lot of showers but also with days of lovely weather. I love to sit in the garden and drink tea and do a litle embroidery. I wanted to make something like that and started drawing.
After that I needed fabric. Maybe blue for the sky and green for the gras. An umbrella had to be there and also a chair and a table. I do not drink coffee but I added a cup of tea. Well when rain and son meet there must be a rainbow. So this was how it turned out The measures are .14 x 22 cm (5,5 x 8,5 inch)

    Wat een originele mug rug! Leuk dat je zelf een ontwerp hebt gemaakt, ik vind het bijzonder geslaagd. Ik wens je veel mooie dagen met een borduurwerkje en een kopje thee op je mug rug in de tuin toe.

    Wat een uitdaging om zoiets te ontwerpen. Het is heel goed geslaagd. Ik heb ook even bij een paar anderen gekeken. Selina vond ik ook erg origineel.
